We had a brill time this year.
Travel and accommodation excellent.
The shows were excellent.
The extra events good, the beach B.B.Q. was fabulous
We met some lovely people,and because we stayed an extra week it was great.
We loved THE AVRA APPTS,and hope we could stay there again.
Goin to see THINK FLOYD on the 20/09/07 IN newport.

The travel arrangements were most satisfactory.

We had no faults with any parts of the week it was so much better than we all expected. We have been enjoying Think Floyd for about 10 years so we knew there would be no problem there, but to see them in a holiday situation relaxed with the sun out and meeting so many like minded people listening to great music all day and night made it into a festival mood.

Dear Elaine & Eddie
Just had to write to thank you both for a truly wonderful weeks holiday at FloydFest07. This is the second time that Gill and I have joined you now for this event - and it just gets better.
The band - Think Floyd - as always were just fabulous, great on the first night and to our enormous pleasure, topped it on the second. How those guys (and gals) played such a long and brilliant set on both nights I just do not know. Where on earth do they get their energy!
As you know this time we brought our whole family and obviously we were a bit nervous in case our kids (24 & 26 years old) might not enjoy it. But it was the best holiday we have ever had, period. - Despite the fact that Gill was still slowly recovering from an illness she had from a week before.
We all had a whale of a time. The extra events you put on were superb, something for everyone. I must admit I was sad when I heard what we had missed by not being able to get to the last night celebration dinner. Never mind though, as Gill and I will not miss it next time.
Well I hope there will be a next time - 2008 maybe?
I'm going to blame this belated 'thank you', partly on misplacing the photos - not that we took to many this time, as we just chose to sit back and enjoy things instead!
Anyway here's a couple of the snaps we did take. Hope you enjoy, it certainly brings back wonderful memories for us.

starting blocks now - guess it might be 2 years though ?............. clue?
Also a big thanks to Socs Alex and George who never fail to pull out the stops and make every night special in "The best bar in Europe", errrmmm thats when alex did turn up . See you's all soon.

Never thought I would ever hear Echoes played live - and never thought anyone could perform it as well as Pink Floyd but the band nailed it to perfection, along with every other song they played over the two nights. Fantastic way to spend a week in June, thanks to Elaine, Eddie, Think Floyd and the guys and gals who made sure the sound was perfect and, finally, a big thanks to all those aging rockers who made each night in Socrates so special.
Shine on and roll on the next fest!

Lindos. You both worked wonders which resulted in a great event...never to be
forgotton...well done. We hope you have managed to get a few days rest after everyone had departed & been able to reflect on what you had achieved in
organising...magnificent. Let us hope that we will be able to meet up again.....another ThinkFloydFest in Lindos perhaps !!!

Been a while I know but been so busy with work since my return from Floydfest. I just want to say thanks for a real wondeful time in Lindos and I hope you do manage to do it again sometime. I will definately be going again. Well actually, I loved Lindos that much I want to retur in September to explore the Island more.
Do you have any contacts out there, that I could try and book a room with over internet or phone? Would be grateful.

Dear Elaine & Eddie,
We just wanted to thank you for a great week in Rhodes for the 2007 Floyd Fest.
The organisation was superb (as was the weather) and the two concerts have left wonderful memories as the evenings were so good.
We would certainly be interested in repeating this again if you are thinking of doing it next year or the following year.
Thank you once again, as there was obviously a lot of effort in making it run so smoothly.

I loved Pans tribute to Sid it was really moving what a talented group of young people. Hope you will run another one - we will definitely be there.

Hi Elaine (if you are back from Lindos)
A massive thank you to you and Eddie for organising such a tremendous event - had to pinch myself a few times to make sure it was really happening. Sorry we didn't meet but I'm sure you both had more than enough to do before and after the concerts (I tended to be in Socrates a bit too late in the evening but did see a couple of astonishing Lindos sunrises).
I've also seen the band a couple of times in England and they get better with each viewing - first time for my two mates and they were gobsmacked - roll on the next FloydFest.
Thanks again to the both of you for all your hard work, and to the band for putting on two great performances.

Just wanted to say thanks for booking our holiday and festival. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the festival have fallen in love with Lindos as have thousounds of others I gather. We did see Eddie but didn't have chance to speak as he was always in conversation with somebody shame as he seemed very friendly maybe next time.
