Q. What is RhodesRock ?
A. RhodesRock is not like other festivals. It's a one or two week
rock holiday where the bands & fans party together at the gigs & in the
bars, clubs & restaurants.
Q. Where is it ?
A. In the beautiful Greek village of Lindos on the Island of
Rhodes where Pink Floyd made their summer home. Unlike UK festivals you
won't need your wellies ! - Sunshine is guaranteed.
The evening sky glows over Lindos and the Acropolis.
Q. When is it ?
A. The 1 week holiday is from 20th-27th June & 2 weeks from
16th-30th June 2012. With the St Pauls Bay shows on Saturday 23th &
Sunday 24th June and the Ancient Amphitheatre Show on Tuesday 26th June.
Throughout the 2 week holiday there will be daily gigs in either hotels,
bars or clubs in Lindos as well as the unmissable Welcome & Farewell
Parties on 21st & 25th June. All of these extra
events are exclusive to the VIP ticket package.
Q Who's playing ?
A. Some of the best Classic Rock tributes in the world… Are You
Experienced? Live Wire, Who’s Next, The Bohemians, Fleetwood Bac, The
Dirt, Think Floyd, The Thin Lizzy Experience & The Stones will be
playing the unforgettable music of the original bands… Jimi Hendrix
Experience, AC/DC, Queen, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, Thin Lizzy,
Motley Crue & The Rolling Stones. Also Stone Free, Not the P.L.O.T.,
StoneWire & The Ben Poole Band will be coming to Rhodes for 2 weeks.
These 4 bands all have some of their own great tracks plus between them
have an enormous repertoire of classic rock covers.
Q. How do I get there ?
A. Classic Rock Tours exclusively offer the Accommodation/VIP all
in package with best tickets to all 3 mainstage shows & entry to the
Welcome Party, the Farewell Party & all of the extra gigs throughout the
2 weeks which are by invitation only to our VIP guests.
Q. Can I arrange my own holiday & buy show tickets only ?
A. Yes, ticket only is available to the 2 St Pauls Bay shows and
the Ancient Amphitheatre Show @ £79 giving entry to the rear & side
areas of the venues. Entry to the parties with the bands & the bar, club
& hotel gigs is only available to those either travelling on the
official Accommodation/VIP ticket package for whom entry to these extra
parties & gigs is included. Alternatively you can book your own holiday
& buy the full VIP ticket package @ £189 for 1 week or £199 for 2 weeks.
Q. Can I fly from my local airport ?
A. Most package prices are based on Gatwick departures but many
other airports are available. A supplement may be payable.
Q. What sort of accommodation is included ?
A. Anything from a simple 2* village studio giving clean
comfortable, accommodation through to a luxury 5* spa hotel can be
booked. Other options are traditional Lindos villas, 3* village studios,
3* & 4* hotels & also villas with pools. The choice is yours.
Q. I am a single traveller. Will I be welcome ? Will I be able to
meet people ?
A. We have lots of singles who have been to Rhodes Rock before &
they always end the week having made many new friendships many of which
continue back in the UK. You'll see Rhodes Rockers & the bands around
the village all week. We also have the Rhodes Rock HQ at Socrates Bar
where they play the best in Classic Rock all night. It's always full of
fans & musicians. A single supplement is payable as room prices are
based on double occupancy.
Q. I/we are old/young. Will we fit in ?
A. If you're a fan of Classic Rock you'll feel at home. We have
Rhodes Rockers ranging from 17-70. It's almost like a club. So if you
like good live music come join the club ! Or join the community before
you go, on our Facebook group ‘Rhodes
Rock Friends & Family’.

Q. How do I book ?
A. Check the 'Accommodation'
section of the website to make your choice then complete the
Enquiries/Booking
form & submit it to us. No money is payable at this stage. We will then
contact you to confirm the availability & price of your choices.
