THE
CLASSIC ROCK CONNECTION
It's believed
that Pink Floyd's Rick Wright & his first wife, Juliette, first
discovered Lindos having rented a house there for a number of summers.
After having completed the recording of The Dark Side of the Moon the
whole band moved out to the village for the summer to relax & watch the
album go platinum.
Eventually two
houses were bought, one in Lindos & one in the neighbouring village of
Pefkos the latter having been subsequently sold.
The Lindos house has frequent visits from friends, relations, ex-wives,
children, etc., throughout the summer, but it is an unwritten law in the
village that their privacy is respected. After all they're just on
holiday like anyone else !
If you decide to join us on this unforgettable trip you will surely
understand what brought so many luminaries to Lindos & what brings
people back year after year.

Socrates
Tsovilis, who counts many rock stars amongst his friends, still
owns the famous Socrates Bar, an historic Captain's House built
in 1605 & is one of the best bars in Lindos. Alex, Theo & George
play classic rock tracks all evening & serve great cocktails &
beers. Have a look at the photos from Soc's album showing David

Lindos.
